Matt Paint guide

Preparation

You will need:
- DETALE Matt Paint
- Paint Brush and roller
- Paint tray
- Masking tape
- Protective covering (paper/plastic)

Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry, stable, and suitable for painting. Remove dirt, grease, and loose material. Fill any holes or cracks with a suitable filler and sand the surface smooth. Wipe away any dust before painting. For larger areas, ceilings, or highly absorbent surfaces, apply a suitable primer to create an even foundation.

Step by step

Step 1

Protect floors and surrounding areas with masking paper or plastic. Apply masking tape carefully along edges, pressing firmly to ensure clean lines.

Apply the first coat of DETALE Matt Paint using a brush for edges and a roller for larger areas. Work in sections and maintain a wet edge to achieve a smooth, even finish. Allow the surface to dry before applying the second coat.

Step 2

Apply the second coat using the same technique to ensure full coverage and an even finish. Remove the masking tape while the paint is still wet for the sharpest edges.

Tip: Use light, even roller pressure and avoid overworking the paint. This helps create a smooth, uniform finish without visible marks from the roller.
