KABRIC Written Guide

Preparation

You will need:
- Min. 2 filling knives (15 cm–35 cm)
- Sandpaper, minimum grit 180
- Protective covering (paper/plastic and masking tape)
- Gloves (optional)

Preparation
The surface must be even, dry, and equally absorbent. Smooth out irregularities with a filler and prime the surface before applying KABRIC.

Step by step

Step 1

Set up masking tape around the desired area. Apply KABRIC to the entire wall in one continuous process without interruption. Apply the product in a thin but covering layer and work wet-in-wet to avoid visible overlaps. Remove the masking tape before KABRIC dries and allow the wall to dry for at least 3 hours, or until completely dry.

Tip: The final effect depends on how KABRIC is applied. Large, soft movements create a calmer look, while sharper and more defined movements create a more dynamic finish. Avoid linear application.

Step 2

Sand down any ridges and uneven areas before applying the second layer of KABRIC. Apply masking tape again and use the same application technique as for the first layer. The thinner the second layer, the more vibrant the final finish will be. Avoid leaving ridges during application. Remove the masking tape before KABRIC dries and allow the surface to cure until the following day.
